The Choir S. Salvatore

The Choir takes its name from San Salvatore’s Castle, an extraordinary building, which dominates the town of Susegana building from the fourteenth century.
It was founded in 1981 under the direction of Maestro Giovanni Bortoli and it assemble about forty singers. His repertoire includes monophonic and polyphonic musics of different ages, songs of national and international folklore.


Wherever his performances have been accepted with enthusiastic consent, to underline the unanimous approval for a performance which interprets the strong violence and the inexhaustible sweetness of passions at all ages, through the proper intonation, the play of the sounds, the costant expressive research. Choral’s concerts are usually in Italy, specially related with Susegana’s initiatives, such as Fall, Christmas and Easter’s concerts. Apart from that, the chor is used every year to have a interchange with a foreign high standard’ s choir. The activities of the choir follow two parallel lines: one which concerns with an usual choral activity (choral exercises and concerts), and another which engages it in international interchanges.
